To add a film to OBS make sure that you have the film stored on your computer, and you know where the file is stored. Then follow the steps below:
- In the "Scenes" window, click on the + symbol
- In the pop-up, enter a name for the scene and click OK
- Then in the "Sources" window, click on the + symbol
- In the drop-down box, click on "Media Source"
- In the field titled "Create new", enter a name for the media source and click OK
- On the right side of the pop-up, click "Browse"
- The file manager should appear, find the video file stored on your computer, select it and click "open"
- Click OK
- Your film should appear in the main window, you can adjust the size or move it around until it is displayed how you would like. Remember that the appearance of the window represents what will be seen on your livestream including any black space.
