Optimizing Your Film For OTT Services

To optimize your film for OTT services, certain components of your project on Projektor will need to conform to some additional requirements. Don't worry, most of the list is quite simple, and you might already pass most of them.

Videos:

1. No more than 1 second of textless frames at the beginning or end.
2. No commercial breaks
3. No URLs or media tags (@ or # tags) unless it is an element of a fictitious story
4. No dialogue promoting a website or social media account
5. Company logos at the beginning must be part of the production (e.g. "A film by [company]")
6. No sponsorship logos before the end credits. 
7. No calls to perform an action within a certain time, donate money, or visit a webpage.
8. Video bitrate of at least 10 megabytes/second (MB/s).
9. Audio bitrate of at least 320 kilobytes/second (kB/s).

Posters:

1. Aspect ratio of 2:3 (width by height).
2. Resolution of 2000 x 3000 (width by height) or higher.
3. File size of 50 megabytes (MB) or less.
4. Title of the film is clear (contrasts with background and not too small).
5. No other text other than the title.

Thumbnails:

1. Aspect ratio of 16:9 (width by height).
2. Resolution of 1920 x 1080 (width by height) or higher.
3. File size of 50 megabytes (MB) or less.
4. For standalone films or a series, the title must be clearly visible (good contrast and size).
5. For standalone films or a series, there must be no text other than the title.
6. For an episode, there must be no text at all (including the title of the series or episode).

Subtitles:

1. SRT format.
2. At least one caption file must be in English.
3. Synchronized well with film's dialogue. 
4. Clearly visible when overlaid on top of film.
